Privacy Policy

Cutframe (operated by Shreyash Chougule) respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect and why.
What we collect
- When you buy: your name, email address and phone number, passed to us by Razorpay so we can send your download and license. Razorpay handles your payment details under its own privacy policy; we never receive your card, UPI or bank details. For early-bird orders, our website also keeps your email address, the amount and the Razorpay payment ID, to count the early-bird spots and send your order confirmation.
- When you email us: your email address and whatever you write.
- When you join the waitlist or download a free trial: your email address, the product you're interested in and whether you use Windows or Mac. We use it only to email you about the trial and the launch.
- When you join the Cutframe list (newsletter): your email address and your consent. We only add you if you tick the box that says you want these emails.
What we don't collect
The Software runs on your own computer. Your footage, projects and captions are never uploaded to us. The Software does not track how you use it. This website uses no advertising or analytics cookies. We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and doesn't follow you to other websites: it tells us how many people visit, roughly which country they're in, the page they came from and whether they use a phone or a computer, never who you are. It remembers your computer (Windows or Mac) in your own browser, so the right tools and prices are shown; this never leaves your device. Prices are shown in rupees or dollars based on your device's time zone.
How we use it
- To deliver your purchase, license key and updates.
- To answer support questions and process refunds.
- To keep records required by tax and accounting law.
We don't sell or rent your information. We only send news and offers if you asked for them by ticking the newsletter box. You can unsubscribe from any newsletter email, or email us and we'll remove you. Emails about your order, trial or waitlist sign-up are only about that.
Who we share it with
Only Razorpay (payments), Netlify (our website host, which stores waitlist, trial and newsletter sign-ups and early-bird order records), our email provider (to send you emails), and authorities where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept as long as tax law requires (usually up to 8 years in India). Support emails are deleted when no longer needed. Waitlist sign-ups are deleted within 3 months of launch. Newsletter sign-ups are kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information at any time by emailing chouguleshreyash003@gmail.com. We'll reply within 30 days.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
